DIY Ayurvedic Balance Bowls
Ingredients
Choice of Quinoa or Rice
Summer Squash
Spinach
Corn
Avocado
Summer Radish
Cucumber
Salt & Pepper
Lime
These are my favorites, but swap them for your favorite vegetables.
Preparation
Cook your grain (quinoa or rice).
Cook up a few different summer veggies separately in simple spices like salt and pepper…my favorites are summer squash, spinach, and corn.
Slice up some avocado, and add a squeeze of lime to prevent browning.
Thinly grate summer radishes and cucumber–I use a peeler to get beautiful ribbons.
Make a nice dressing or sauce–nothing too spicy, salty, or sour, as those tastes add heat instead of cooling down.
Pack ingredients separately and let everyone create their DIY bowls, filled with a balance of grains, cooked veggies, healthy fats, and raw garnish.

Enjoy & be well.
